I'm saving for an engagement ring?

Ok I got this idea from my best friend. He's been dating his girl for 3 years, he started thinking about proposing a year ago. He had been saving up $200 a month for a year and got the perfect ring. Here's what I'm doing. even though I'm very single (and for some reason, I'm not upset by it anymore) I've been saving $100 a month for my girl's engagement ring. who's my girl? your guess is as good as mine. Maybe Ashley, sarah, Betsy, brittney, Anne, Roxanne, etc. but do you guys think it's weird I'm already saving up for my engagement ring? the main reason I'm doing it is because when I meet her and wanna marry her, I have the money already in the bank.
