A question about human pheromones?

Is it possible that my body started to make pheromones that would make females more attracted to me after already hitting puberty? Or they don't work like that. A lot of girls are attracted to me, and since I'm not attractive. I'm trying to figure out why. Its either this or personality. LOL @ personality.
