Im still in love with a guy I have dated in the past, but now he has a girlfriend.?

So this guy and i were unofficially together for about 4 months, and he cheated on me about 5 times. Once he had with his ex, so that's when we ended it. Because it ended so terribly, im still in love with him. Now hes going back out with his ex, and hooks up with me on the side. I want to go out with him, but i feel like if i did id get cheated on. So maybe this is a better situation for me? Please Help
