Know any books that mention Penal System in Elizabethan time?

I have to do a report on the penal system during the Elizabethan times. Although I did not find any books that are completely about the subject, I was wondering if any mention it. It is ok if the book is not available currently in bookstores because there are always used book places. Thanks!
