What does the Jim Jones circle over eye stand for?

Aight, think about the "Hustler's P.O.M.E. (Product of My Enviornment) - EP". On the cover obviously it has Jim Jones, but what does the hand gesture with the 3 fingers up and the circle around th eye means? Cause I do it as a joke like during basketball when I hit a 3 or something. But I don't take it seriously. Plus I wanna do it next year for the chest bump lines, except i wanna do handshakes. Cause we got a kid who is a good three point shooter, so it's like you know deadly 3 point shot. In the end I wanna make sure it's not some gang symbol or something like that. So if yo can tell me what that means that would be appreciated. Thanx
